THE SENATE HAS PASSED THE FOLLOWING SENATE BILL:
S.B. 5002 A BILL to appropriate the public revenues for the two years ending, respectively, on the thirtieth day of June 2007, and the thirtieth day of June 2008, to provide a portion of such revenues, to repeal Chapter 289 of the 1989 Acts of Assembly, to authorize the issuance of bonds or other obligations by the Virginia College Building Authority for equipment or capital improvements related to research activities at colleges and universities of the Commonwealth, to authorize the issuance of bonds by the Virginia Public Building Authority for capital improvements within the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services, to amend and reenact §§ 33.1-23.03:1, 33.1-23.03:8, 46.2-694, 58.1-2402, 58.1-2425, and 58.1-2501 of the Code of Virginia, to amend the Code of Virginia by adding § 46.2-206.1 relating to transportation funding, to repeal the tenth enactment of Chapter 1019 of the 2000 Acts of Assembly, to repeal the tenth enactment of Chapter 1044 of the 2000 Acts of Assembly, to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Title 33.1 a chapter numbered 10.2 consisting of sections numbered 33.1-391.6 through 33.1-391.9, and to repeal Chapter 1041 of the 2003 Acts of Assembly.
