Statewide emergency medical care system. Requires the Board of Health to promulgate regulations establishing a statewide prehospital and interhospital trauma triage plan. The plan must set standards and criteria for triage and for trauma center designation and must be designed to provide quality improvement monitoring and to ensure that trauma victims receive rapid access to appropriate, organized trauma care. This bill requires the Board to promulgate emergency regulations.
