Summary:
Claims; relief for Sunway Electrical Electrical Contractor, Inc. Provides $20,390.95 in relief for Sunway Electrical Contractor, Inc., for sales taxes erroneously collected by the Department of Taxation. The Department provided Sunway with a coupon book to pay sales tax in 1991. Sunway paid sales tax from 1991 through 1994. In 1994, the Department contacted Sunway regarding additional payments; after investigation, the Department acknowledged that no additional sales tax payments were required and that no sales tax payments should have been paid. The Department issued Sunway a partial refund. A full refund was not made because the statute of limitations had expired.
