Summary:
Public oyster rocks. Gives the Commissioner of Virginia Marine Resources Commission discretion on whether to mark a closed oyster ground with a set of buoys or signs but retains the requirement to post notice of the closing in at least two public places. The bill also removes redundant language regarding the Marine Resources Commission's authority to open and close oyster beds.
