Summary:
Election materials; disposition of materials following election. Gives the local electoral board the option to direct the officers of election to deliver the ballots, returns, and other election materials to the principal office of the general registrar on the night of the election in lieu of delivering the materials to the clerk of the circuit court by noon of the day following the election. The general registrar would have responsibility for the materials and be required to deliver the materials to the clerk by noon of the day following the election.
