Summary:
Motor vehicles; required disclosures; warranty exclusions and limitations prohibited; penalty. Requires motor vehicle dealers to disclose, at the time of sale, all known mechanical defects (of a material nature) in any motor vehicle sold at retail. The bill also prohibits motor vehicle dealers from excluding, modifying or limiting any warranties or contractual remedies in conjunction with the sale of a motor vehicle. Both provisions are enforceable under the Consumer Protection Act.
