Sex offenders. Creates within the Department of Corrections a sexual offender treatment program. Any inmate sentenced upon a felony conviction for certain sex offenses must participate in and successfully complete the program. Failure to do so can result in delaying his release by triggering an involuntary commitment for mental illness.
Anyone placed on probation or parole following a conviction upon a sexual offense must also receive treatment through the program.Full text:
