Summary:
Senate and House of Delegates districts; adjustments. Makes adjustments for the Cities of Hampton and Newport News to reduce the number of precinct splits in the Cities, conform certain legislative district lines, and take into account precinct changes made by the Cities in establishing school board election districts. References are to the current precincts in the Cities.

The Senate district line adjustments affect the boundary line between the First and Second Senate Districts so as to eliminate splits in five precincts in Hampton. The Aberdeen, East Hampton, and Smith Precincts become wholly contained in the Second Senate District; and Buckroe and Magruder Precincts become wholly contained in the First Senate District. The adjustments also affect the boundary line between the First and Third Senate Districts so as to eliminate the split of the Palmer Precinct in Newport News. Palmer Precinct becomes wholly contained in the First Senate District.

Adjustments are made in the House of Delegates district lines for House of Delegates Districts 91, 92, and 95 so as to eliminate precinct splits and conform legislative district lines in Hampton. The Aberdeen, East Hampton, and Smith Precincts become wholly contained in House of Delegates District 92; Buckroe Precinct becomes wholly contained in House of Delegates District 91; Wythe Precinct is moved from District 92 to District 91 (conforming House, Senate, and congressional district lines); and the portion of the Magruder Precinct lying west of Armistead Avenue is moved from District 91 to District 92..
