Community services boards. Provides that appointments to community services boards shall be broadly representative of the community to include consumers and family members when practical. Definitions of "consumer" and "family member" are added. Currently the minimum number of board members is five and the maximum is 16. This bill increases the minimum to seven and the maximum to 18. This bill is an outgrowth of the Consumer and Family Participation Study (House Document No. 47, 1994) which was required by HJR 713 (1993).
