Summary as passed House: (all summaries)
Use of social security numbers.  Requires that the identification number for state employee insurance plans not be the employee’s social security number. The bill also amends the Virginia Consumer Protection Act to remove the requirement that a consumer submit a written request before a supplier is required to use a number, other than the social security number, as the consumer’s account number.
