Includes in the provisions that allow for the issuance of protective orders following incidents of stalking, provisions that allow for the issuance of protective orders following incidents of acts of violence resulting in serious bodily injury to a person. In order to obtain a protective order under these provisions an arrest warrant must have been issued for the alleged perpetrator.
