Summary as enacted with Governor's Recommendation: (all summaries)
In camera interviews in child custody or visitation hearings. Provides that in a child custody or visitation proceeding in a court of record, where the court conducts an in camera interview of a minor child without the presence of the parties or their counsel, the court shall prepare a record of the interview, which shall be made a part of the record in the case, unless the parties otherwise agree or the child's safety would be endangered. The cost of creating the record shall be taxed as costs to the parties.
